A3 Intermar entered into an important lake project, in which floating solutions with great functionality and innovation were developed: it is an important work in Lake Calima, one of the most attractive tourist destinations in southwestern Colombia, where the renovation of Some of the facilities and a series of damaged piers were modernized, which will be integrated into a linear park, consisting of viewpoints, ticket offices and facilities for tourists and visitors.

Calima is the largest artificial lake in Colombia, it is located in the Valle del Cauca and has become an important national tourist scenario due to its climate, extension and location conditions. Surrounding areas have been developed tourist complexes framed by an exceptional landscape that mixes mountains with jungle peaks.

We execute and develop this work by cutting-edge technology that we handle in the manufacture and installation of floating docks, like those required by the new tourist infrastructure of Colombia.

We designed a floating system with anchors, which is operational and functional according to the conditions of Calima, because if the water level increases, you can simply go up and down as many times as necessary to reposition the spring. In addition to this, we built two floating docks, which will guarantee more safety, comfort and receptivity of tourists.

This project financed by Fontur, entity of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, was built in the A3 Intermar plant in Cartagena, and undoubtedly points to the development of the country’s tourism sector, which favors the competitiveness and sustainability of the environment. to infrastructure, services and innovation.

The work done in Lake Calima sets a precedent in this area of the country, and represents an advance in the goal of making them increasingly attractive, viable and safe tourist destinations in our country, promoting, in turn, the nautical and land.
